Former Warrior Player of the Day – Stephen Jackson

The Golden State Warriors are known for trading their best players away and for acquiring talent only to see those same players flourish on other teams. As a Warrior fan, I am always curious how former players are doing. So I give to you a segment we will have here daily, called the Former Warrior Player of the Day.
This week’s honor goes to Captain Jack. We all remember his signature slow release, shutting down Dirk in the playoffs, and his overall clutch play. We also remember his careless turnovers, that ridiculous extension Robert Rowell gave him, and his trade demand. That being said, Stephen Jackson was a great warrior and will always be remembered. He is today’s Former Warrior Player of the Day after hitting a game-winner against the Hawks and more importantly doing the Aaron Rodgers championship belt celebration directly after.

Stephen Jackson at Atlanta: 32 pts (12-24) (1-6 3pt) (7-8 ft), 2 reb, 1ast, 1stl, 1to, 1 blk, +14
